JCAL's facility features a 1,650 square foot visual arts gallery, a 99-seat proscenium theater, three painting and three dance studios, a ceramics studio, a computer lab, and a newly renovated, soundproof music studio.
The College's PAC features a 1,437 seat Main Stage theater and a 152 seat Little Theater. The performance venues and expert productin staff can accomodate the most challenging of productions as well as the most intimate. For more information and pictures of the space click here
In thier on-site theater APT puts on and hosts musical performances encompassing jazz, blues, reggae, ska and other Caribbean, South American and African forms. They also have film screenings and produce original plays.
While offering a wide array of today's most popular movies, the Jamaica Avenue Cinema also hosts monthly comedy acts and has cartoons up on "the big screen" on Saturdays.
Founded in 1970, the Black Spectrum Theatre Company produces and presents contemporary and origional theater, films and videos examining issues of concern to the African-American community in their 400-seat performance space.
