Regina L. Hill, born and raised in Jamaica, NY - Founder and Artistic Director of The Dance Hut, located in Jamaica, NY. Regina is a professional dancer who started her training at the Bernice Johnson Cultural Arts Center, in Jamaica, New York. She also studied at The Ailey School, St. Benedict School of Dance, Aims of Modzawe Cultural Center and Broadway Dance Center.

She has performed professionally with several dance companies such as Joan Peter's Dance company (Ailey), Francis A. Rhymes (St. Benedict's) and Marcia Daiter's Dancers (New York University). In addition to performing she also teaches and choreographs for several talent shows and community productions. She has worked with choreographers M'Bemba Bangoura, Joan Peters, Francis A. Rhymes, Kathleen Isaac, and Obediah Wright (jamaicafunk.org featured artist) among others. She has worked with various New York University faculty choreographers and performed in the NYU Distinguished Faculty Concert. She was a volunteer dance instructor for the First Baptist Church of Lawrence Children's Praise Dance Team and The Arts Outreach Dance Instructor at St. Mary's Children and Family Services.

Regina graduated from New York University with a MA in Dance Education, Baruch College with a BBA in Management, obtained a certificate in Arts Management from Marymount Manhattan College, a certificate in the Stage 1 Language of Dance, and a certificate from DanceTeacher Magazine. She is a New York State Certified Dance Educator and a Teaching Artist for the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre Arts-In-Education program. Lastly, teaching dance to children had inspired her to write two books about dance, Frankie The Flower and The Big Dream. Her passion for dance and to "pass on the love of dance" is why she continues to give back to the community through dance.
