Obediah Wright

Director of Balance Dance Theater, a 501c3 company delivered over 25 performances on some of the most notable stages in the Tri-State area, including Lincoln Center, Aaron Davis Hall, Bendheim Theater (Scarsdale), New Jersey Performing Arts Center, World Financial Ctr, Schomberg Cultural Arts Center, NY Museum of Natural History, The LIU Kumble Theater to name a few.  Trained at the Bernice Johnson Dance Studio, High School of Performing Art, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Dance Theater of Harlem, and the Juilliard School. 

His choreographic style is pulled from his extensive training in Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Swing and Afro-Cuban dance; which allows him to creatively fuse the techniques or let them stand independently.  His training in video production and musical theater give him the ability to move from one type of artistic genre to another; giving him a tremendous edge - - customizing the work to fit client's needs.
