Dana Marie Ingraham

Dancer

 

Dana Marie Ingraham began her training at the Bernice Johnson Cultural Arts Center in Jamaica, Queens. She subsequently continued her training at the LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts, The Ailey School, and Jacobs Pillow. Ms. Ingraham graduated Magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University with a BA in Sociology and a BFA in Dance Performance.
 
She has performed with the companies of Philadanco, Ballethnic, Nathantrice/Rituals, Buglisi/Foreman Dance Company, and the Francesca Harper Project. Ms. Ingraham has worked with noted  choreographers Alonzo King, Louis Johnson, George Faison, Roger C. Jeffrey, Obediah Wright, Debbie Allen, Maurice Hines, Jacquelyn Buglisi, Liz Lerman, Christopher Huggins, and Robert Battle.
 
She made er Broadway debut in the musical "Hot Feet," and went on to tour with the west coast company of "The Lion King." She will next be appearing in Italy in Karole Armitage's  work "Summer of Love." Ms. Ingraham is a Presidential Scholar of the Arts, and a proud member of Actors Equity Association.
