Mission

The purpose of the Downtown Jamaica Cultural District, a partnership of arts and economic development organizations, is to honor and support Jamaica's rich history as a center of jazz, rap, hip-hop, and African-American and Carribbean culture, as well as a destination for urban creativity and culture in New York City.
